Why are we doing it?

We all need our own personal challenge and also to “make a difference” which we will achieve via fund raising with a goal of £100,000.

Taking part as a team of 3 from very different backgrounds means we will have additional challenges which we will overcome through our planning, training and focus. We can prove that together we are stronger and that the only limitations are those that we choose to accept.

The April 2014 on line entry for MdS closed within 11 minutes of opening in June 2012 such is the popularity of this extreme event. After 12 months of searching we are delighted that Martin Hewitt has agreed to squeeze in this fun run in between the Adaptive Grand Slam (AGS). The AGS is the first series of expeditions by disabled adventurers to climb the 7 highest summits in the 7 continents and also walk unsupported to the North & South Poles. Martin will also ensure that we run the MdS as a race and that as a team we leave “nothing in the tank”.
